A long-time client recently purchased an old mill house in Carrboro, NC. She loves gardening and wanted to incorporate a unique fence design that would allow vines and plants to grow up the fence while also providing privacy. Additionally, she plans to get a dog soon. With an idea in mind, we worked together to bring that design to life. I custom-made all the wood slats using my table saw, creating large squares attached with pressure-treated lumber. This fence is designed to last a long time.

I recently completed a project for a homeowner's association located outside of Carrboro. They were in need of a durable, custom-made bridge for their hiking trail, capable of withstanding floods and storms. The bridge measures 12ftx4ft and is constructed using CCA treated boards. Given the remote location, all materials and wood had to be transported by hiking. As an enthusiast of hiking and kayaking, I take pride in designing and constructing long-lasting structures in natural settings.

A long-time client in Carrboro, NC, wanted a unique seating area in her beautiful garden. A few years ago, I built a large fence for her golden retriever, and she wanted this new project to complement the existing split rail fence and gate. We decided on a simple floating deck. This deck not only serves as a functional sitting area but is also extremely low maintenance. I special-ordered CCA-treated pine boards that are true to size. CCA-treated wood is designed to last 20 to 30 years.

This homeowner in Chapel Hill desired a creative solution to shield their property from the busy road. Together, we developed and constructed five large privacy screens using pressure-treated poplar, along with CCA-treated 4x6s and 4x4s. CCA-treated posts are expected to endure for 20-30 years on average. Pressure-treated poplar was chosen for its unique wood designs. The project was a great success, and the privacy screens are expected to last for many years to come.

This client in Hillsborough, NC was in need of a brand new fence for their new rescue pup. They were looking for a fence that would not only be aesthetically pleasing but also functional. They were referred to me by a client for whom I had built a split rail fence a few houses over about 4 years ago. Together, we came up with a functional design, and I also collaborated with the couple to create three custom-made wooden gates to complement the fence design. The project was a success.

I recently had the pleasure of working with a client who owns a beautiful horse farm in the scenic area of Carrboro, NC. She was looking for custom-made gates and a unique entrance to her farm, as she hosts a large international sculpture show each September. The client desired a grand entrance that was entirely custom and allowed for creative design input. After careful consideration, I decided on an art deco design for the gates, featuring impressive eagles crafted from cedar.
