Pine board panels custom made for a bedroom wall.

This client wanted a unique wood design on the wall of their bedroom. These pine boards were lightly burned with a torch, then sanded , then coated in oil. They turned out fanstastic.  In Japan it’s called Shou Sugi ban.

Creative Garden privacy screen

This client wanted a huge garden screen to block the neighbors floodlights. I built this garden screen using railroad ties at the base and then pressure treated poplar. I then made the giant deer out of pressure treated plywood.

Whimsical Garden fence made from local eastern red cedar (Chapel Hill, NC)

This client asked me to design and build this artistic whimsical garden fence in Pittsboro,NC. The fence was built with local eastern red cedar. I personally cut down all the cedar for this project. I also built the gate and built the arch. I used large cedar trees as the posts. I used cedar branches for the fencing. Then for the base of the fence, I put tons of cedar slabs from the local saw mill.

Custom made privacy fence and gate with wooden crows. Carrboro

This is client wanted me to design  and build a  nice privacy screen for their new home in Carrboro.  The client also requested a bunch of wooden crows on the gate and the fence.  I made each wooden crow out of local cedar. I then lightly burned each wooden crow in a fire and then sanded the wood and added boiled linseed oil to seal the wood. This fence and gate should last a very long time.
